Algomystica

About

Algomystica is excited to invite you to its next installment: an evening of three live acts devoted to free improvisation, sonic exploration and attentive listening. Eliad Wagner & Werner Dafeldecker arrive fresh from Fray Field (Room40), their collaborative record built on interplay and free improvisation. Synthesis and acoustic sound dissolve into one expansive timbral milieu, leaving concept and perspective open to interpretation. Madeline Stepien is visiting from New York with one of her intimate live sets, where sound becomes a medium for perceptual and emotional manipulation. Field recordings and synthetic textures, meticulously shaped by DSP, create a suspended weightless void you'll be glad to disappear into. Marcin Pietruszewski performs a fully synthetic set drawn from his longstanding research into pulsar synthesis, microsound and non-standard synthesis, reinterpreting the past while bringing it somewhere new and personal.
