Learn about Ugandan artist Sanaa Gateja, known as 'The Bead King'. He discovered how old magazines and paper could be rolled into colourful beads and turned into beautiful jewellery and artwork. Inspired by his creativity, we'll make our own paper bead necklace while learning about Afirican art, culture, sustainability and community empowerment, and the importance of recycling.
