In his striking feature debut, long-time Bad Bunny collaborator Stillz captures an intimate, formally daring portrait of Colombia's forgotten youth. Barrio Triste is heightened by a restless, intense debut score from Arca, whose fluid soundscapes anchor the film's vision. Navigating the thin line between desperation and the supernatural, Stillz delivers a beautiful, unclassifiable piece of contemporary cinema. Screenings at ICA – Institute of Contemporary Arts on Wednesday 21 October: 12:05.
