Central and flat, between the Parliament and the Basilica. The Danube bank, Szabadság tér and Margaret Island are a short walk away.
Víziváros (District I)
Quiet streets on the Buda side under Castle Hill, with Danube views. Some streets are steep, so bring a light stroller or a carrier.
Jewish Quarter (District VII)
The heart of Budapest's nightlife: ruin bars, restaurants and synagogues. Lively and central, but loud at night — pick a courtyard-facing room.
Andrássy út and the Opera (District VI)
Elegant boulevards between the Opera House and the Liszt Academy — theatres and concerts on your doorstep, a little calmer than District VII.
