SHY Collectief Blauwdruk / TAR

Wird ins Deutsche übersetzt…

With a backpack full of stones, a head full of voices and a Walkman full of drum 'n' bass, Shy walks to the nearest pond. In an attempt to escape his own restlessness, he talks with, as and to his parents, teachers, badgers and whoever else wants to listen. Further and further into the woods. Because where is there room for someone who is lost in their own thoughts? And how do you deal with a mind in which a war is raging? “God is a bouncy bastard who wants his people together in the dance.” SHY is a swinging stream of consciousness about living or dying. A duet between drummer and actor. A liberating and destructive jungle-love-song for the mad, the un(treat)able and the troubled young minds. A performance about being lost in the darkness and realizing that you are not alone there. After Verdriet is het ding met Veren, Romijn Scholten once again dives into the linguistic, dark and humorous work of Max Porter. Together with Jacob Derwig, he adapts his latest book: SHY .
