Silbersee - Via Inferno

Wird ins Deutsche übersetzt…

What do you do when you feel like you're stuck? When the light alone isn't enough, and you have to enter the shadow to move forward? Singer and theatre maker Sterre Konijn takes you on a personal and musical journey in Theater Bellevue, inspired by 'De Goddelijke Komedie' by Dante. Sterre Konijn She descends into Dante’s world and into her own soul, in search of love, honesty, and the courage to also face the darker sides of life. Sterre loves harmony. As a child, she only wrote the good news in her diary. But now she longs for authenticity. What does it mean to be human? And can you truly love without also allowing pain and chaos? Musical all-rounders Together with three musical all-rounders, Sterre brings a compelling mix of song, text, and sound. Old Italian passages from Dante’s work are interspersed with new Dutch-language reflections and genre-transcending music full of viola, synthesizers, percussion, theremin, and the mysterious sound of the duduk. With influences from classical music, pop, Gregorian chant, and non-Western traditions, Via Inferno connects Dante’s world with our own. A musical descent in which the dark is not just something to fear, but also a place to look more closely.
