Tausend Live: Lorikeet

Wird ins Deutsche übersetzt…

Deep textures, minimal grooves and a psychedelic sensibility define Lorikeet, the Berlin-based electronic live act joining Tausend Live at Bar Tausend. His downtempo sound makes space for detail, bringing colourful layers and subtle rhythmic movement into a performance that invites both listening and dancing. Having spent more than a decade immersed in Berlin’s music scene, Lorikeet draws inspiration from its hedonistic settings while exploring a softer, more reflective musical territory. His compositions play with structure, allowing familiar shapes to dissolve and emerge in new arrangements. The focus is on texture, atmosphere and the possibilities within a seemingly simple groove. Experimentation is central to his practice. He creates musical interfaces that encourage play and intuitive exploration, approaching sound with curiosity rather than a predetermined destination. That spirit carries into his live work, where reflection and movement belong in the same space. Join us for an evening of deep, unhurried electronics and a live performance that rewards getting lost in the details. Genres: Downtempo, Electronica
