The Stasi Museum occupies the former headquarters building of East Germany's Ministry for State Security, including the original, preserved offices of long-time minister Erich Mielke. Bilingual exhibitions with documents, photos and objects explain the Stasi's role in the GDR dictatorship, and visitors can join public guided tours or use an audioguide in several languages.
