Housed in a half-timbered building dating back to 1665 in Köpenick's old town, this museum presents the permanent exhibition "Köpenick – from the beginnings to the present," tracing local history from prehistory through fishing and laundry trades to industrial development. It also hosts temporary special exhibitions on topics such as the town hall's history.
