The Deutschlandmuseum at Leipziger Platz is an immersive, walk-through experience covering 2,000 years of German history, from the Varus battle through the Middle Ages, Reformation, Enlightenment, both World Wars, division and reunification. Using 4D effects like sound, scenery and smells, it combines education with a theme-park feel, letting children touch exhibits rather than just read long texts, and it's open daily including holidays.
