Museumsdorf Düppel is an open-air museum of reconstructed medieval houses where visitors can discover how people lived and worked around the year 1200. Volunteer craftspeople demonstrate historic skills such as blacksmithing, bronze casting, spinning, weaving and herb gardening, while old farm animal breeds are kept on site.
