Guided tour of the exhibition Walk This Way

Walking seems like a simple, everyday activity at first glance: we start somewhere and get somewhere. But what happens when it’s not the destination that matters, but the walking itself? The exhibition Walk This Way shows how walking has become an artistic medium and how it has been connected to social, political and urban issues. Walking can be a form of discovery, observation and exploration, but also resistance or political action. The exhibition also asks how walking changes our relationship with our environment. When we slow down, we perceive the city, nature and our own thoughts differently. Walking is thus not just a means of transportation, but a possible way of getting to know the world.
